I still play Mordhau almost every night. People are far too good at it nowadays, but thanks to Tuesday night's update I can now take refuge in a pub. Full modding support is still a ways out, say developers Triternion, but you can now automatically download the maps people have managed to make just by jumping into a server that's running them
Hey Mordhau players. I got a problem with my game that i cant find an answer too so I'm coming to reddit to look for answers (Probably a terrible idea). I love playing on the new modded maps but whenever I try to load into a map like Tavern or CourtyardNight or CourtyardDay or one of those general modded maps, it's stuck on "Preparing to download mods". This problem doesn't happen with maps "preparing to download mods" I talked to my bud and he says there are no mods on the server. It's been preparing to download for 10 minutes now. Any help half a year later, the madlads actually did it. take that, the 82% of people that downvoted my post. There is a bug with mod.io I can download my custom map, you can see my SSD space decreased 59gb>58gb. But when it's finished he reset. ( see pictures) There are no .pak inside the \Mordhau\Content.modio\mods, only my: modio.json. When I add manually my .pak file into it, it will work. My Mordhau copy of the game fails to download any mods or maps from servers that have mods. I have tried deleting my modio file, I have tried reinstalling the game, and I have also tried verifying the integrity of my game. When I check the mod manager setting in the settings tab, the mod manager tab actually does not exist in my copy of Mordhau. (help) I get stuck on this screen whenever trying to join a server with mods on it, it just reads "preparing to download mods" and never goes away and never actually loads anything. I tried many fixes that people have said to work but I had no luck. If anyone has any ideas i'd love to hear em.
